Ace Hotel and Millwick Wedding Los Angeles//Gena+Alex

When Gena and Alex reached out to me last year, about their Los Angeles wedding, I almost jumped out of my seat with excitement!  Her and Alex planned their wedding reception to take place at the Millwick in downtown Los Angeles.  Alex is from Hawaii, so his family planned an awesome backyard celebration for them, in the house he grew up in!  They also wanted to be able to celebrate in LA, so this was more of a reception slash awesome party to celebrate with their friends in family in California.  I’m originally from California, so I spend a lot of time going back and forth between California and NY.  Since they planned to celebrate in January, it was perfect timing for my winter exodus from NY, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect couple to work with in the middle of January.  Between getting ready at the Ace Hotel, her Stella McCartney dress that was also donned by Rhianna on the red carpet a while back, and the magic that is the Millwork, this was pretty much my ideal couple!  Cheers Gena and Alex for getting me out of NY for a great celebration in LA!
