Hindu/Jewish Wedding Thea+Rachit Pt1

This week we are thrilled to have this wedding featured on Martha Stewart Weddings.  As you may have noticed, I've been working with several of my dearest friends in the last year, and I'm so excited to finally share this one with you!!  Thea is an amazing bridal accessories designer, and has been on of my closest friends since entering into this community of wedding friends!!  It was the kind of friendship where we knew from the moment we spoke, that we were going to make creative magic together!  She's one of those people you can count on without ever questioning whether or not she will follow through, be on time, or have your back!  Needless to say, she found an awesome partner in Rachit, who shares many of her qualities of adventurousness, ambition, but with just the right amount of playfulness and joi de vivre to make them a perfect match!  When she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was downright thrilled, because I knew they were going to throw an amazing bash, which quickly turned into a two day affair in North Carolina, where both of their families live.  Today's post features day 1, of the Hindu ceremony, that couldn't have been more beautiful.  Watching Thea transform into a Hindu bride was one of the loveliest parts of the whole weekend, as I saw her in a way I had never seen her.  She was such a champion, donning this lehenga, which probably weighed upwards of 10 lbs, and managed to even get a few dance moves in with Rachit at the end of the night.  Congrats you two, can't wait to share more adventures with you both!
